The story of coming of age usually starts with the main character’s old world – their starting point – until something very daunting challenges them to step out of their comfort zone. To reach a better future means growth. Growth that might be painful. Growth that might dare one to fall so they could learn to fly. Growth which pushes them to expand beyond the box they used to belong. More or less, within the past 9 months, this is what I have been feeling.
